Why are electronics so boring? 

And why is the dominant principle in designing and marketing electronics a desire to tune them out. That’s no fun. Electronics are better than that. They’re amazing! Do you know how they work? Me neither! But they do. And we love them for it. Anyway, this desire for a kinder, happier kind of electronics brand led us to create UO_TUNE_IN, developed entirely in house at Urban Outfitters. For UO_TUNE_IN, we played with color, form factor, packaging and messaging to deliver a line of products designed to delight. A power strip demanding attention. A cassette boombox that proudly announced its outdated charms. A clever cord keeper, portable power and more. All literally covered in fun bits of language. Tune in and freak out, ok?
